About Mullingar Half Marathon
The Race
The Aon Mullingar Half Marathon kicks off from Mullingar town center (outside Danny Byrnes) on St Patrick’s Day morning follows the Royal Canal, and concludes in the town park at the finish line. Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with refreshments and the highly coveted AON Mullingar Half Marathon Medal for 2024.
It’s imperative for all runners to complete the registration process before the race commencement. Registration links will be live from 7th December. The Mullingar Half Marathon is committed to adhering to public health and safety guidelines, and we kindly request all participants to observe and comply with the same.
Marathon Categories
The Mullingar Half Marathon has 3 categories:
- Male
- Female
- Over 60’s.
Winners will receive their prize at the official prize giving in the race tent situated at the finish line.

What To Do In Mullingar
Race HQ
Race HQ is based in Guinness Centre 7 on Pearse Street, 100 meters from the race start line.
